WHITESPARK
Name: Whitespark
Decepticon Profile:
Whitespark is a Sniper's spotter. He is trained as a sniper himself. His duty to the Decepticons is to provide the necessary assistance to his partner while on a mission. He's a pale cream-white seeker who prefers to deal out death in battles that are fought in colder arctic climates where his white body provides him camouflage.
He has zest for life and likes to enjoy himself as much as he can. He reasons that you never know what the new day will bring. As a warrior this could be a very true statement. He is not cold like the environment he enjoys, he is very warm and cheerful. He also enjoys a good laugh.
Whitespark finds himself interacting with his comrades in arms in games of chance. He gets a thrill out of gambling, watching gladiatorial sports, races and he has a way with the female mechs. He is a smooth talker with a soft clear voice.
Whitespark had been allotted the dubious position as the spotter to the assassin Windraker. Although he was not initially thrilled with the job; he learned to look past Windraker's failings and see the Seeker for his strengths rather than his weaknesses. He and Windraker formed a very close friendship.
Abilities:
Whitespark has an ability to become invisible, which is an asset as a Sniper's spotter. He assists in locating targets, calculating the variables of wind, humidity and angle before he hands Windraker the necessary information to set up his shot. When the shot is fired it is up to Whitespark to follow the trajectory of the projectile to ensure he makes a hit; if he misses then Whitespark gives the appropriate trajectory adjustment to Windraker.
Whitespark is responsible for the security of the mission. He will lead Windraker and fire in his defence, he also control's radio communications and if necessary will call in ground troops or an air strike on selected targets. He and the sniper will construct hides and he will observe in an visible state from the inside or invisible on the outside. He also sets up and provides a distraction should the enemy come too close to their location.
Whitespark has a very keen sense of vision that he enhances with a binocular visor.
If, for whatever reason, they fail to remain hidden and are discovered, Whitespark can simply disappear and allow Windraker to be taken prisoner. Windraker's inability to remember anything is the only reason why this is allowed. Whitespark, if he plays his cards right, can follow Windraker's captors and help the sniper escape.
Whitespark flies at Mach 2.5, can remain invisible during flight.
Whitespark carries standard Seeker issue arm-mounted rifles as well as a phase rifle that can fire up to ten kilometres.
Responsibilities:
Assists sniper with equipmentWeaknesses:
Whitespark, for all his assets, has a number of weaknesses. He is a compulsive gambler, he enjoys betting more than he can handle and on occasion has literally bet his life on things, and on a few other occasions has had to serve as a sort of slave to a winning Decepticon. He does not seem to mind this arrangement.
Whitespark enjoys living the high life; which is why he gets into the trouble with his peers and comrades in arms. He prefers to have a good time, sometimes at the expense of duty and has been known to sneak off on Windraker if the opportunity arises. He has been warned, on the pain of death, about this on a couple of occasions.
Whitespark, although he can become invisible while in flight and on missions, is sometimes tipped off by a shimmer whenever he fires his weapons. His location can also be pinpointed by the weapon fire alone. When his presence is discovered in this manner, the enemy can easily track him down by using radar, infrared scans or similar tracking devices.
His ability to become invisible can tax his energy reserves fairly quickly and if he takes a few direct hits it will cause it to fail leaving him exposed.
He also has a tendency to foul the shot if he takes sniper position, he does not have Windraker's instinct or ability and often he's too eager to wait for the fire order.
Description:
Whitespark resembles Starscream in his mech form and Pyramid Seeker in his Alternative form. He is a creamy white colour with blue and grey stripes on his wings.
