SUNBURST

Profile:

Sunburst is very cruel and cold hearted. She was educated into the art of warfare through the Decepticon war academy where she completed with excellent standing. When she was fully integrated into the Decepticon air fleets, she rose from ordinary wingman to wing or field leader. She had aspirations of becoming a battalion leader. Due to a bad judgement call on her part, a very important mission failed. Of seven wing members, including herself, three were lost and presumed dead. She, herself, was shot down on the same mission although she was repaired and released by Neutral robots. She returned to base in shame and was subsequently demoted.

As a result she became jaded to the war effort and eventually she was dishonourably dismissed. She spent many thousands of years working as a mercenary to whoever could afford her price, even on occasion dealing with Autobot factions against Decepticons. On Mars a client shot her and left her for dead. She was found dying by Skyfire, who was at that time studying Martian micro-organisms. He took her to Cybertron and repaired her. After that she stopped her mercenary work and studied botany and biology at the University of Alien Cultures on Cybertron

The little known reason for the attack against her: She refused to accept the job of assassinating the Decepticon Air Commander, Starscream.

Abilities:

Sunburst is fast and agile, her flying skills are very fluid-like. She reaches speeds of mach 2.7, although her engine design would allow for her to reach mach 2.9, an untraceable flaw in her engines holds her back. She can fly stealth for a short period of time by jamming radar and infrared scans. This allows her time to infiltrate behind enemy lines before they can react to her presence.

She wears two plasma/laser rifles on her arms which have manually and systematically adjustable settings; Stun (not null), Low, Medium and Lethal damage settings. She also carries one plasma Pistol inside her left hip. She is also equipped with cluster bombs, small nuclear warhead tipped missiles and rockets. Sunburst has anti-heatseeking defence weapons that she ejects if she is under attack.

Weaknesses:

Sunburst is intelligent yet she is not very bright. Her biggest weakness is her lack in diplomacy: she speaks her mind. This occasionally gets her in hot water with her companions. She has fairly low self esteem which she gets around by bullying others. This gives her a feeling of power and superiority. She also spends a lot of time looking back at things and wondering how things could have been or changed rather than allowing herself to go forward.

Sunburst sometimes allows personal issues to cloud her judgement as well as being obsessed with trying to obtain the unobtainable.

Description:

Sunburst is a light golden yellow over most of her body with accents of orange and white. She sports red and white markings on her wings.
